In the last match of the first round of the regular season, Aluron CMC Warta Zawiercie beat PSG Stal Nysa 3-0 in their own hall. Karol Batrin was named the best player of the match. Zaviersier's attacking player did an extraordinary feat – he served eight aces in this short match!
Carol Butrin started her show in the service box at the beginning of the first set, serving with two aces (9:5, 10:5). He returned to serve in the third game. He scored four points in one set (7:4, 10:4, 11:4, 12:4) and his series in the service box actually set the set for the hosts. In the end, he added two more aces (20:14, 22:14), effectively sealing the decisive victory for Aluron CMC Warty.
