In recent weeks, there has been a real revolution in public media. On December 27, the Minister of Culture and National Heritage Bartlomiej Sienkiewicz decided to stage them. in liquidation. A week earlier, Minister Sienkiewicz dismissed the presidents of Polish Television, Polish Radio and the Polish Press Agency. The new management boards of the companies were elected by the new supervisory boards appointed by the minister. Less than an hour after the announcement of the Ministry of Culture, TVP Info and TVP3 stopped broadcasting (instead, TVP1 and TVP2 started broadcasting). TVP's “Wiadomości” also disappeared from the air.
New “Wiadomości” on TVP. now it's “19:30”
On Wednesday, December 20, in the “Wiadomości” studio, among others: Michal Rachon, Bronislav Wildstein, President of the Institute of National Memory Karol Nawrock, heads of TAI and “Wiadomości”, as well as reporters of the program. Everything was shown by Republika TV. Meanwhile, at 19:30 on TVP 1 and TVP Info there was a short announcement by Marek Czyz about the changes in the station.
The program returned to TVP with a new version on Thursday, December 21. “19:30” – that's how it's been called since that day New version of TVP's “Wiadomości”.. In the first program, the most space was devoted to changes in the public media and the Polish Press Agency.
The editor of the new format is Pavel Pluska, who was previously associated with TVN's “Fakty” for many years. The first two editions were hosted by Marek Čiži, and Joanna Dunikowska-Paži made her debut as host on Saturday.
Transfers to TVP. A well-known journalist from Polsat will join
Several Polsat Group journalists have already joined Telewizja Polska. Malgorzata Nowicka-Aftovic is now preparing social materials for the new TVP1 news program “19.30”. Milena Bobrovska, who spoke to Polsat News about, among others, medical topics. Since January 1, Piotr Jedrzejek has been in charge of TVP Info's journalism. At the end of 2023, it was also reported in the media that weather anchor Yaroslav Kret, who would soon appear on TVP, said goodbye to Telewizja Polsat. According to Wirtualne Media, the presenters of the Wydarzenia 24 channel: Bartosz Chebenko and Violeta Vramba are preparing to transfer to public television.
Now the media has been informed that Monika Savka, the presenter of some editions of Polsat's “Events”, is leaving the TV company. According to the portal Wirtualnemedia.pl, he is to join the new news team of Telewizja Polska.

Sawka joined the editorial team of Polsat News in 2018. In 2020, he can be the host of the main edition of “Events”. The journalist is currently the host of “Events 12:50” and “Events 15:50”. He also appears on the TV station Wydarzenia 24.
