The 16-year-old football player is a phenomenon during the current World Cup. In the previous phase, he easily destroyed Brendan Dolan, who previously defeated former world champions – Gerwyn Price and Gary Anderson. Littler never loses his cool and almost always plays at a high level.
On the other hand, Cross proved in the quarterfinals that he cannot be written off. Although he lost to Chris Dobey 0:4, he was able to make up for the loss and won the match 5:4. Will he be able to repeat the result of 2018, when he became the world champion? The 16-year-old phenom has to beat himself first.
The World Darts Championship will be held from December 15 to January 3. The title was defended by Michael Smith, who was eliminated in the round of 16 after losing to Chris Dobey. Three Poles participated in the tournament. Krzysztof Kciuk lost to Conor Scott (0:3) in the first round, Radek Saganski – to Raymond van Barneveld (1:3) in the second round, and Krzysztof Ratajski – to Johnny Clayton (2:4) in the third round.
