At the end of 2023, a meeting of the employees of the TV News Agency with the new management of TAI was to be held at the headquarters of TVP. Apparently about 150 people showed up on Woronicza. Justyna Slivowska-Mroz returns to TVP Info
Justyna Slivovska-Mroz has now joined the TVP Info team of journalists. This is not his debut on a Polish television news channel. He started his adventure with public media as a reporter in one of the regional branches. In 2015, he made his debut on TVP Info. Later, he joined the hosts of the programs “Good Morning Polsko” and “Halo Polonia”. He became famous for his legal battles against law and justice.

The journalist fought PiS in court. What was it about?
In October 2018, the staff of Patrik Jak, who was running for mayor of Warsaw, presented a site about refugees. Clip used among others: statements by Jak's opponent, Rafal Trzaszkowski, and PO leader, Grzegorz Schetina. The one-minute spot also includes footage from TVP, in which journalist Justyna Slivovska-Mroz speaks.
The use of his image at the polling station was followed by an immediate reaction. “I am not a member of any political party, nor have I ever been. I have never publicly declared support for any political party or any politician (…) I expect an immediate removal of my image and an apology,” wrote Justyna Slivovska-Mroz on Instagram.
The journalist filed a lawsuit against Law and Justice, which he won. The case ended only in July 2023, when the Supreme Court rejected the appeal of the representatives of law and justice.
“I beat PiS in the Supreme Court! It's time to apologize. That's all, but it turns out to be a lot. This story is several years old and has a final end. A political party used my few seconds. It worked and put it in a rough context, it was created from this hate-filled political place, two I won in the instance, the judgment was not enforced, the party sent an appeal to the Supreme Court, which dismissed the appeal, someone will say that this is a battle with windmills for parsley. With windmills… a little like that. The mechanism of the conflict is complicated. But it makes sense. I sued the party, Because I believe in values and these are values. I teach my children, you don't negotiate on values,” the journalist wrote after hearing the verdict in his favor.
