Funds from KPO
The first application to the European Commission is worth EUR 6.9 billion (more than PLN 31 billion), including almost EUR 2.8 billion (PLN 12.4 billion) from the grant part and almost EUR 4.2 billion (PLN 18.7 billion) from the loan part from the part. billion). As the Ministry announced in December, the European Commission now has approximately 2.5 months to evaluate the application. The procedure of issuing a conclusion by the commission's committees will last about one month. Funds from the first payment request are expected to be disbursed in April 2024.
The minister also announced that in 2024, his ministry plans to submit two more applications for KPO funds in two terms. This means that the second and third applications will be submitted in the first half of 2024, and the fourth and fifth applications in the second half.
The KPO is a program from which Poland is to receive €59.8 billion (PLN 268 billion), including €25.3 billion (PLN 113.3 billion) in subsidies and €34.5 billion (PLN 154.8 billion) in soft loans. with face.
