There is an impasse regarding public media. A week ago, the National Media Council suddenly appointed the new president of TVP. It was Michal Adamczyk, the former head of the Television News Agency (TAI) and until recently the host of the main edition of “Wiadomości”. Before that, due to the resignation of Mateusz Matiszkowicz, Maciej Lopinski became the acting president of Television Polska.

On Wednesday evening, a new statement from Adamczyk appeared on the TVP Info profile on X's website, this time regarding the labor rights of people employed at the station. According to the letter, they are being violated by a “false governing board and now a sham liquidator”. According to Adamczyk, some employees of the station were fired “in violation of all standards.”
“It started with mass blocking of tickets, access to computers and e-mails of many employees and employees. For example, illegal dismissals from labor obligations are also sent by e-mail,” the journalist wrote. He added that there were also reports that a “bogus management board” was defaulting on the company's financial obligations.

Employees are expected to complain about the lack of information about the plans and current activities of the company's management, which was appointed after Minister Zienkiewicz's decision to fire the current presidents of public media.
“That's why people often learn their fortunes only from corridor rumors. In view of all these illegal actions, we have decided to provide legal assistance to all employees and employees of TVP who feel insulted by the actions of the person who claims to be the liquidator,” said Adamczyk.
