Poles exchanged Perth for Sydney.
The Polish team has reached the semi-finals of the United Cup, where they will face the French national team. The battle for the grand final will begin this Saturday. The Poles have already registered for the new competition venue – Sydney.
On Wednesday, the Poles won the third match of the tournament. The Chinese team lost 0:3. Hurkach started the Polish-Chinese competition. The Polish tennis player defeated Zhizhen Zhang 6:3, 6:4. Świątek then joined the competition and faced off against Qinwen Zheng. It was quite an easy match for the Pole, as it was decided 6:2, 6:3 in two sets. Thanks to the victory, Schwitek has won 100 matches as the leader of the WTA ranking. The result of the entire competition between Poland and China was decided by a doubles match. In mixed pairs, the duo of Katarzyna Peter and Jan Zielinski defeated the pair of Xiaodi You, Fajing Sun 6:3, 5:7, 10:7.

Reaching the semi-finals of the United Cup means moving from Perth to Sydney. Shortly after arriving at the new venue, Świątek summed up the performance so far.
– We are very excited. This is another chance for us. Just like last year. We are moving forward. I'm happy with our performance in Perth – it was good. We are in a good rhythm and we play the best competitions here, – said the Polish tennis player.
