Tajon Buchanan became the first Canadian player to play in Italy's Serie A. On Friday, he signed a four-year deal with competition leaders Inter Milan.
“I am proud to be the first Canadian in Italy's top league,” the 24-year-old winger was quoted as saying by Inter's website.

According to Italian media, Inter paid seven million euros plus three million possible bonuses for the Belgian player from Club Brugge.
Buchanan has made 35 appearances for Canada, including three at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
