Once with a sickle, once with a hammer, on a red rabbo

Another demonstration to protect freedom of speech was held in Bydgoszcz. Despite the late hour and growing frost, more than 1,000 people gathered near the television building. They were the initiators 1980s opposition activists: : Christian Frelikhovsky– Chairman of Gazeta Polska Club, Councilor of Bydgoszcz; Ian Raczycki- President of the Association of Repressed People of the Polish People's Republic “Przymierze”; Bogdan Dzakanovski – Councilor of the city of Bydgoszcz. The oldest participant was 92 years old. He was also among the attendees Ian PereychukLegend of Bydgoszcz solidarity and Andrzej Mazurowicz Multiple Polish rowing champion, long-time coach of the national rowing team, shot in the leg during the June 1956 events in Poznań, 1982 member of the Bydgoszcz Regional NZSS Solidarity Provisional Coordinating Committee, imprisoned in 1984. On August 5, 1985, the Bydgoszcz District Court sentenced him to 2 years in prison. The gathered demanded freedom of speech and pluralism in the media. They addressed, among others: Afterword Lukash Schreiber, Pavel Schrott. Another rally was also announced, which will take place on January 13, 2024 at 4:00 PM (Saturday) in front of the provincial office, ul. Jagiellonska 3 Bydgoszcz
