Indeed, when I look at the series of statements of politicians of the current coalition about the war in Ukraine, I get a strange impression. Deja vu. As for the lack of prudence, tromtrading and irresponsibility – nothing has changed. Well, my uncle replaced the ax with a stick.
First, the foreign minister said regarding Russia's attacks on Ukraine: “We must respond to the latest attack on Ukraine in a language that Putin understands: by tightening sanctions so that he cannot produce new weapons from smuggled components and by giving Kiev's long-range missiles that would allow it to disable launch and command centers.” Then his deputy publicly boasted that he did not shake hands with the Russian diplomat. Finally, another Eastern author and expert has publicly shared his expectations (hopes/dreams?) of Russia's collapse within the next eight or ten years. He added that he expected the defeat of Russia and the fall of Putin at any moment, and therefore Kiev should be given more financial and military assistance. All three fit perfectly with their predecessors, and we have a tight and full sequel in that regard. However, this is not a reason for optimism. We simply have an immature political class that, unfortunately, not only by its own account, is participating in an absurd auction of who will be more anti-Russian.
We are threatened by missiles that are not ours
The first and simplest question is: Who did Radoslav Sikorsky have in mind when he said, “We should give Kiev long-range missiles”? Who is this “we”? As far as I know, Poland does not have long-range missiles, so I understand that there has been a call from others, mainly the United States, to equip Kiev with such facilities. Excellent. This means that Poland's foreign minister is publicly calling on Washington to send these weapons to Ukraine and to inform Russia, that Warsaw's goal is to carry out attacks in Russia. He justifies this by saying that “this is the language that Putin understands.” Therefore, it is expected that Sikorsky wants to talk to Putin through missiles in his language. nicely But, how can I say, Putin has these missiles and Sikorsky does not.
