Mariusz Borek was the founder and member of the disco band Skalar. News of his death spread through social media on Sunday. “See you again,” read a farewell post on the band's Instagram page.
“Today we received the sad news about the death of our colleague and former employee, the founder of the group Skalar and vocalist Mariusz Borek. We express our sincere condolences to Marius' family“- these were the words of the Skalar group members saying goodbye to their friend in a post published on Facebook.
The cause of death was a heart attack. Mariusz Borek died at Epiphany, January 6.

Mariusz Borek started his musical career in 1991. Together with Irineusz Perkowski, he founded the disco band Skalar in Bransk.
Their first cassette was released in 1998 and won the hearts of fans of this genre.
Title track “Tell Me”The clip, for which they shot in New York, broke popularity records.
Skalari, after several years of suspension, returned to the scene with hits: “That Night”, “You Cried” and “Yellow Pineapple”.
