The information was provided by money.pl, which contacted Grupa Żywiec. As the director of the company's corporate affairs, Magdalena Brzezinski, said in response to the journalist's questions, consultations are currently underway with the media house to remove the company's advertisement from the station as soon as possible.

“Due to recent statements made on TV Republika, which are in complete contradiction to our values, Grupa Żywiec will not advertise on this channel,” Brzezinski wrote.

Advertisers are leaving the station

Portal Wirtualne Media has created a list of companies that have advertised on this station in recent weeks. These are: Orlen, Lidl Polska, Polfa, Provident, Carrefour, Perła Browary Lubelskie, Kaufland, Grupa OLX, Reckitt Benckiser, Wedel, Tarczyński. The website asked most of them about further cooperation with the station.

Provident, Media Expert, Adamed Pharma, Pyszne.pl, Tarczyński and Żabka said they were following Ikea and mBank in this matter. Otodom, which belongs to OLX Group, is planning a similar move.

In connection with this issue, Zhabka Polska has already sent a letter to the sender. The company also emphasized that the current broadcast advertising purchase was made last year.

The boycott of the station is related to the speeches made on its air by Jan Pietrzak and Marek Krol.

– Here, I have a cruel joke with these immigrants. They hope the Poles are ready because we have barracks. We have barracks for immigrants in Auschwitz, Majdanek, Treblinka, Štutovo. Here we have many barracks built by the Germans. And that's where we're going to stop these immigrants being pushed illegally by the Germans – Pietrzak said.

For his part, publicist Marek Krol in Telewizja Republika suggested that migrants arriving in Europe should have a “chip” or tattoo with numbers. An excerpt of his statement was published online, sparking an avalanche of criticism.
