Mariusz Kaminski and Maciej Vesic were arrested on Tuesday evening at the Presidential Palace, where they stayed at the invitation of President Andrzej Duda. PiS politicians were first taken to the police station at ul. Grenadiers, and then in the Grokhov pre-trial detention center.
According to Gražina Ignacak-Bandić, head of the presidential office, police entered the palace without the president's presence when he went to the Belvedere to meet with Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsykhanuskaia. Officers showed arrest warrants for Kaminski and Vesik. Politicians should have been surprised and not resisted.
Ignačak-Bandić also said that when the president was informed about the developments in the palace, he wanted to return immediately, but the exit from the Belvedere was blocked by a public transport bus.
Trzaskowski on the events in Warsaw: the bus conspiracy? really?
The mayor of the capital, Rafal Trzaskowski, spoke about this and published an infographic based on the data of the Warsaw Barometer survey on the social network. The graph shows information about how Warsaw residents rate public transport.
“Public transport in Warsaw. Always at your service. PS. Bus conspiracy? Really?” – wrote Trzaskovsky and mocked the theories of the president's entourage.

Bosak on the activities of special services
Krzysztof Bosak, Deputy Speaker of the Confederation Sejm, presented a different position on this topic. “This corresponds to the operational methodology of the special services. If the Services carry out an undercover mission at a facility, they monitor the movement of the facility's hosts and prevent them from returning under any seemingly random pretext until the mission is complete. “- writes the politician on the X website.
