The National Court Registry has decided to register the new members of the TVP Supervisory Board appointed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage Bartlomiej Sienkiewicz. The application was rejected.
The revolution in public media began on December 20. After that, Bartlomiej Sienkiewicz dismissed the presidents of Polish Television, Polish Radio and the Polish Press Agency. The new management boards of the companies were elected by the new supervisory boards appointed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage. On December 27, Sienkiewicz decided to liquidate TVP, PR and PAP. As he explained, “this will allow us to ensure the functioning of these companies, to carry out the necessary restructuring and not allow the dismissal of employees employed in the above-mentioned companies due to lack of financing.”

The statement of Michal Adamchik, appointed as the president of TVP by the National Media Council, was published on the X website. “As expected, the registry court rejected the application to enter the pseudo-management board appointed by Bartlomiej Sienkiewicz into the national judicial register. This means that the usurper's management board and supervisory board in the company were operating illegally after December 20, 2023.” we are reading.
“All decisions made by these bodies are invalid. This includes, among other things, contracts and attempts to illegally release many people from their work obligations. The decision of the registry court clearly indicates that there was and is an attempt to take over TVP. illegal action. The shutdown of TV signals and TVP websites was done without any legal basis and caused significant damage to the company's assets,” wrote Michal Adamczyk.
“As the president of the governing board elected by the resolution of the National Media Council, I inform you that appropriate legal steps will be taken against people who harm the company,” he said.
