Trade unions operating in Telewizja Polska have received questions about several dozen employees of the company. As “Preservice” found out, this is a group of 60-70 people. TVP may want to release some of them.
As we have established, polls are sent to connections in batches. They are already concerned, including the former management of the TV news agency, namely Michal Adamczyk, Samuel Pereira and Markin Tulitzki.
Unions also received requests that included the names of management advisers and foreign correspondents.
They also received requests for fired directors, including: Philip Styczynski (head of TVP World), Piotr Kierzkowski (head of TVP 3), Markin Scabara (he was the deputy director of the programming office) and Robert Malinowski (he was the deputy director of the TVP advertising office), Also former local leaders. Branches, including Marcin Szypszak, Ryszard Montusiewicz, Józef Matusz and Piotr Dziemiańczuk.
– In the surveys we receive, the company asks if the union represents the person in question. The employer does not indicate for what purpose he needs this information – says “Presserwis” Bogdan Wisniewski, chairman of NSZZ “Solidarność” on TVP. – Such inquiries most often come when the employee intends to terminate the employment contract with the employee – he adds. He explains that the termination notice is the second step.
– The investigation does not prove anything yet, it should not be continued. They know they can't lay off more than 29 people to avoid mass layoffs, said another union representative, who spoke on condition of anonymity. A mass layoff occurs when at least 30 employees are laid off within 30 days and your company employs at least 300 people.
