Maciej Wąsik and Mariusz Kamiński are no longer in custody in Groców – Polsat News has learned unofficially. Convicted politicians should be sent to two different departments in the district.
As our station learned, one of them will be sent to prison in Przytuli Stare (near Ostrolenka). The second – probably Mariusz Kaminski – Radom.
This decision was taken for the security of the units where the convicted politicians were staying.
In Kaminski's case, they had to choose Radom because it was a prison hospital. We remind you that the former minister started a hunger strike. His son announced this on Wednesday. A few hours later, Maciej Wąsik's hunger strike was also reported.
Wirtualna Polska reports that the politicians may be transferred to other places in the near future.
Kaminski and Vesik were arrested
Mariusz Kaminski and Maciej Vasik were arrested in the presidential palace on Tuesday evening. The police executed the court's arrest warrant. At first, uniformed officers appeared near the houses of the parliamentarians, but they could not find what they were looking for.
After the arrest of the politicians, they were transferred to the district police department in St. Grenadiers in Warsaw. Then they were transferred to the Warsaw-Grokhov Detention Center.
Despite the protests, a significant part of the lawyers, as well as the Human Rights Commissioner and the Chairman of the National Election Commission, believe that the final decision is still valid. Despite the situation, he was not a Kassat, which means that as of December 21, the politicians lost their parliamentary mandates.
