Wirtualna Polska has acquired the portal Wirtualnemedia.pl, which should operate as a separate company, independent of the media part of WP. Eva Swistunyuk became the president of Wirtualnemedia.pl.
Wirtualnemedia.pl shall be directly under the management of WP Holding. This is a guarantee that the portal reliably describes the entire market, including WP Group's media competition.

“The independence of the editorial staff of Wirtualne Media is the basis of its activity. When we heard that they were looking for a new owner of the portal, we applied, because we understand the important role of this company in the industry, and we, as the new owners, guarantee this independence,” said Jacek Świderski, president of Wirtualna Media, quoted in Polish Holding.
Marcin Zumichora, the founder of the portal and its current owner, will remain in the company's structures as an advisor to the management board, handing over the management to the new president, Eva Swistunyuk.
For the past 25 years, Swisuniuk was associated with the Infor Group (among others, the publisher of “Dziennik Gazeta Prawna”), from which he left in November 2023. He was the financial director, president and member of the management board of the subsidiary Infor Biznes, and then the president of the central company Infor PL.
The portal Wirtualnemedia.pl is about media, advertising, public relations and marketing.
The value of the transaction was not disclosed.
