Zbigniew Boniek does not rule out returning to Polish football. The former president of the Polish Football Association has revealed that he is considering cooperation with two clubs he was associated with in the past. He later clarified that it was about the role of co-owner.
Speaking on the Meczyki YouTube channel, the 67-year-old emphasized that he is considering only two teams – Zawisa Bydgoszcz and Widzew Lodze. Let us remind you that Boniek is a graduate of the Bydgoszcz club and from there he moved to Widzewi, where he spread his wings and attracted the attention of foreign scouts.

After the broadcast on the X website (formerly Twitter), the former president noted that he was not going to work for any club. However, he is interested in becoming a co-owner of such a team.
It is not yet known how realistic such a scenario is. Vidzevi usually plays in PKO BP Ekstraklasa and Zawisza in the 3rd league.
Let us remind you that after the end of his football career, Boniek first tried his hand at coaching, and then decided to become an activist. He was associated with both Widzew and PZPN. In 2012, he won the presidency of the Polish Federation, which he ruled until 2021. In the same year, he also became the vice-president of UEFA.
