The first UFC gala of the year is behind us, and we have to admit, combat sports fans might be in for a treat — especially when it comes to the final fight of the night. Magomed Ankalaev defeated Johnny Walker and the knockout of the Dagestani was impressive. Check out the video below.
The fight between Ankalaev and Walker was chosen as the last confrontation at the gala in Las Vegas. Entering the competition, the Dagestani was ranked third in the lightweight category, and a victory could pave the way for him to fight for the championship belt.

It is not surprising that Ankalaev tried to take the initiative from the very beginning of the fight and bit his opponent. He managed to hit Walker a few times, but not hard enough to end the fight early. After the first round, everything was still possible.
Everything changed after a short break. Dagestanis attacked more and more strongly and after 2 minutes and 40 seconds of the second round they reached the goal. First, he hit the Brazilian with a powerful hook, after which he fell to the floor in a flash. On the ground, Ankalaev added another blow and the referee immediately stopped the fight.
