According to “Gazeta Wyborcza”, the new management of TVP discovered a list of films that could not be shown on air during the presidency of Jacek Kurski and Mateusz Matiszkowicz. The reasons for including the films in the list were the political involvement of their creators and the strong criticism of the rule of law and justice or the topics they dealt with.
The list of films should have included 17 plays. Among them: “Citizen Jones” by Agnieszka Holland, “Pestka” by Kristina Janda, “My Mother's Lovers” by Radosław Piwowarski, “Iron Man” and “The Marble Man” by Andrzej Wajda, “80 Million” by Waldemar Krzystek, “Big Animal” and “Citizen” Jerzy Shtura, “Poklos” Władysław Pasikowski, “Fuchs” Maciej Dutkiewicz, “Ziea” Robert Glinski, “Good morning, I love you” Ryszard Zatorski, “Friendship without borders”. by Sebastian Schipper, “Fun, Fun” by Kinga Debska, “Skłodowska” by Marjan Satrapi, “Illegitimate Father” by Ken Scott and “Just Friendship” by Philip Zilber.
“Forbidden” films were shown
However, as it turned out, in recent years TVP Kultura regularly aired “banned” films. Lukasz Adamski confirms this information.

Sienkiewicz made a decision on Wednesday Liquidation of TVP, Polskie Radio and PAP. He justified his decision by vetoing President Andrzej Duda's budget act, which included funds for financing public media.
