Ian Parris: Poland is not involved in the war and the object of the attack was the territory of Ukraine. It's kind of a coincidence. Now we need to determine what flew into the Polish area – was it a drone, a missile or another object. Did it fall into Polish territory or was it sent back?

It is possible. It remains to be seen. It should be remembered that Poland is in the phase of building an air defense system consisting of several layers, the Narew, Pilica and Wisła systems. Its construction will be completed in about 5 years, and until then we are facing this type of incidents. Even if this system is operationally ready, it must be remembered that it will not protect the entire country. No state protects its entire territory.

We must first assess the response to this incident. How quickly the public was notified that something like this happened and whether an investigation is ongoing. The worst is the concealment of incidents and the situation when citizens start getting angry because they learn about various things from the internet and citizens remain silent. Therefore, I believe that citizens should be given such information immediately, even if it is bad, and then everything should be explained step by step.
