Over the last few days, there have been tremendous changes in the public media. The Minister of Culture and National Heritage, Bartlomiej Sienkiewicz, first dismissed the presidents of TVP, Polskie Radio and PAP, and then placed the companies managed by them into liquidation.

Lots of experts Politicians point out that the action of the head of the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage is illegal and violates the Constitution and the provisions of several acts. Pro-government groups countered that public media demanded swift and decisive changes, even if they meant breaking the law. Justice Minister Adam Bodnar's statement came to light when he said, “We have a situation where we are going to restore that constitutionality and we are looking for a legal basis to do that.”

Chaser was worried

Philip Chajer recently joined the large group of commentators on the changes at TVP. The former anchor of TVN and star of this channel recently left the media and devoted himself to business management. As he says, he is worried about the changes introduced by Minister Sienkevich. So he decided to speak out on the matter, and as he emphasized, he did it “as a spectator.”

– I don't like extremes. As I didn't like the previous extreme, in this case too I hoped for a balance that would be good and normal. Meanwhile, I have taken the opposite extreme, which I do not like. I say this now as a viewer. Like a regular guy in a white shirt. It all went to extremes. Some were like that, and others decided to take revenge on them and it looks like this. Moreover, I also watched “Fakty” and “Wiadomości”. In order to finally get something out of one and the other (…) now I am afraid that they will take Fakty twice,” he said in an interview with the “Jastrząb Post” portal.
