“2023 has been a journey full of amazing moments and fulfilling dreams that I never dreamed of, even in my wildest thoughts,” wrote Lukasz Kaczmarek on his social media. The past twelve months have been full of spectacular success for the Polish volleyball team forward.
The 29-year-old player of Grupa Azoty ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle has significantly expanded his collection of trophies and medals in 2023. With his club team, Kaczmarek won the Polish Cup and the Super Cup, as well as the Champions League. He was also a leading figure in the national team led by Nikola Grbic, with whom he won every tournament in which Poland participated. He won the League of Nations, became European champion and qualified for next year's Olympic Games in Paris.

To achieve these successes, the Krotoshin volleyball player played many great matches, the most memorable of which was probably his performance in the July 2023 League of Nations final, in which the Red and White defeated the United States 3:1. Popular “Zvierts” scored 25 points in this match and played with very high offensive efficiency.
On the last day of 2023, Kaczmarek summed it up in an emotional note he posted on his social media. He described the past twelve months as a journey full of amazing moments and dreams that he had never dreamed of even in his wildest thoughts. “I did not expect the success to be so radical,” he wrote.
The European champion and the owner of the Champions League also thanked those who helped him fulfill his sports dreams. “Thank you so much to my wonderful teams, loyal fans and everyone who has supported me along the way. I am grateful for your loyalty and help in making my dreams come true. Without you all this would not be possible!” – he emphasized.
