The suspension of the protest was announced on Saturday afternoon. Farmers who protested in Medica reached an agreement with Minister of Agriculture Czeslaw Siekierski. As reported by Interia, he met with the representatives of the farmers' side, accompanied by the Voivode of Podkarpackie, Tereza Kubas-Hul.
– This agreement is neither the beginning nor the end of the dialogue that we started and will continue with the farmers. We want to solve the problems in a full partnership discussion, said Minister Czeslaw Siekierski, quoted on the portal.
“We understand the need to help Ukraine, but at the same time we want certain regulations to be introduced that determine the permissible size of various goods, which can affect the European market,” he added.
