In the 5th round of the Champions League, Asseco Resovia lost 0:3 against Rzeszów Tours VB. At the end of the third set, a big confrontation started, which had a significant impact on the outcome of the match.
To say that Rzeszow's team did not look good was an understatement. The first two sets were terrible for Resovia. In the third, Łukasz Kozub made a good change and there was a glimmer of hope for a win and maybe a game-turner. However, this did not happen.

In the third set at 24:24, the referee whistled for an attack on the net by the French player. Rzeszów should have had the ball. The Sparks started flying under the net almost immediately and Coach Turse accepted the challenge. After an extremely long discussion, the referees decided that the action should be replayed and the video of the discussion was shown on the big screen.
The problem was that you couldn't tell anything from him. The Rezovia volleyball players and the coach had a long discussion with the referees, but his decision was firm: it makes no sense. In the end, the French turned out to be the better team.
