“On January 2, 2024, at approximately 9:00 a.m. Moscow time, an airborne munition was misfired during the flight of an Air Force aircraft over the village of Petropavlovka, Voronezh Region. No one was injured,” it is written. .
The Ministry noted that a special commission was already working at the site, which was tasked with explaining the circumstances of the incident and providing assistance to the population. The owners of the damaged buildings were transferred to “temporary accommodation centers”.
