In East Germany, 58 percent of survey participants expect the AfD to come to power in one of the three federal states and hold the position of prime minister.
All other parties represented in all three national parliaments currently rule out a coalition with the AfD. In such a situation, the representative of “Alternative for Germany” can become the head of the government only if the right-wing group receives an absolute majority of seats in the parliament.
