Music journalist Artur Orzech returns to Polish television. As he says in an interview with “Preservice”, it was difficult for him to refuse to comment on this year's Eurovision. Orzekh adds that he also conditionally agreed to return to the “Szansa na success” program. Before that, the journalist left TVP because – as he wrote himself – he did not want to “support the group Boys and Mr. Pietrzak”.
– I heard two questions from TVP leaders. First, I will comment on the Eurovision Song Contest. I said yes. It was difficult to say no, because I have dedicated half of my professional life to Eurovision. There was also the question of whether I would return to Chance of Success. At first I also agreed – says Artur Orzhechi with “Preserve”.

TVP terminated the contract with Artur Orzech in March 2021. According to the broadcaster, he did not appear at the recording of the program “Szansa na success” and therefore it was decided that the program would be hosted by music journalist Marek Sierok. “The anchor was changed because Artur Orzech did not fulfill the terms of the contract with TVP,” the TV company explains.

After that, Orzech replied on Facebook: “Mr. Kurski (Jacek Kurski was the president of TVP at that time – editor's note)I know perfectly well how much you appreciate me, but I will not allow myself to support the Boys band and Mr. Pietrzak in my own way.” In a later note, he said, “Sir, I'm not going to take any more chances to lead. “You have other stars” (original spelling).
Orzekh was replaced by Marek Sierocki and Aleksandr Sikora while commenting on the Eurovision Song Contest.
Artur Orzech started hosting “Szansa na success” in 2019 when the show returned to TVP 2 after seven years, while he has been commentating on Eurovision since 1992.
As we saidMarek Sierok remains at TVP, although he will no longer work in the editorial office of “Teleexpress”.
