The parliamentarian was a guest of RMF FM on Thursday. Robert Mazurek really wanted Wipler to tell him if he wanted Grzegorz Brown out of the Confederacy. And at the end received a positive response.
Wippler: He promoted women
During the conversation, the politician also said that the fact that Donald Tusk is currently in power in Poland is the result of the actions of Janusz Korwin-Mike.
Wippler spoke about the results of the October parliamentary elections in Poland. The confederation, which had 12-15% support in opinion polls a few weeks before the vote, ended up with only 7.16%.
There are opinions in libertarian circles as to why and nationally divided. MP Wipler blames Janusz Korwin-Mike for this, who, in his opinion, alienated many voters from the party with his statements.
– This campaign showed that the biggest political flows were between us and the third way. And the fact that Poland is now ruled by Donald Tusk and we have a centre-left government is actually the result of the actions of Janusz Korwin-Mike. He succeeded in dissuading young women from voting for the Confederacy through his famous act against patriarchy. According to him, it was like a provocation against the Confederacy.
Corwin-Mike: That's why Tusk rules
Corwin-Mike himself responded to the announcement via social media, and in general he thinks that, among other things, the softening of the message caused the confederation's result to be weaker than expected.
“Apparently, some PiS members said that thanks to me, Donald Tusk is in power in Poland today. Donald Tusk is the power in Poland because there are no parties in Poland that want radical changes, want to cut and eliminate taxes, eliminate ZUS. Sell TVP and other state-owned companies, introduce the death penalty for murderers. There was no party in Poland that wanted to put the majority of the political class into criminals. There was no normalcy! That's why Donald Tusk is in power in Poland today,” writes a long-time political leader of libertarian formations.
