On Monday, a court in Warsaw prepared an order to take Mariusz Kaminski and Maciej Vesik to prison. President Andrzej Duda responded to the move by inviting both former CBA leaders to a ceremony at the presidential palace on Tuesday.
According to Deputy Minister of Justice Krzysztof Smyszek, President Duda's decision is a “provocation”. The left-wing politician believes that the president knows that “Mr. Vasik and Mr. Kaminski have served justice”, so he should refrain from taking such a step.

The entire punishment process will begin. The penal commission will meet and determine the terms of serving this sentence, he said.
