At the first stage of the third quarter, Arriva Polski Cukier was able to reduce the deficit to eight points after the play of Mate Vucic and Goran Filipovic. Coach Przemyslaw Frasunkiewicz's team did not want to concede anything for a long time. Only after further three points by Wojciech Tomaszewski and Bartosz Diduszka did the hosts reach four points. After 30 minutes, the score was 56:64 thanks to long shots by Tanner Grove and Victor Sanders.
In the next part of the match, coach Srjan Subotic's students were not going to give up. At one point, he posted a 13-0 run and took the lead after another game from Vucic and Filipovic! With two minutes to go, after strikes from Saunders and Jozear, the visitors again led by five points. In the end, Anvil controlled the events on the court and finally won 83:78.
