– This edition of “The Power of New Year's Hits” shows that the magic of music can do wonders and is a link that connects people regardless of age. It was enough to look at the audience gathered near the stage. The artists presented on stage different musical genres and favorite songs of different generations – said Nina Terentev, a member of the Polsat Supervisory Board.
As the portal Wirtualnemedia.pl pointed out, while Polsat spread the “power of New Year's hits” on its channels, as in previous years, after the “change of power” at TVP, the “Dwójka” event was no longer propaganda. Strictly speaking – the concert was not discussed in the TVP1 news program “19.30”.
There will be no more “Dream New Year's Eve”

In an interview with “Fact”, Joanna Kurska talks about the changes in Polish television and the topic of “New Year's dreams”. He appealed to the new government to change the name he invented. He emphasized that he did not want it to be associated with “new” television. It turned out that TV Polska changed the name of the New Year's event. Instead of “Sylwester Marzeń z Dwójką”, the concert in Zakopane returned to its previous name – “Sylwester z Dwójką”.
