German testimony. It was sublime

German bobsleds dominated the second day of the World Championship in St. Moritz, Switzerland. Johannes Lochner's team won in the foursome, and Laura Nolte's team won in the women's doubles. Linda Vaiszewski and Marika Zandecka took 13th place.

Lochner, who took two wins on Saturday, also took four to win, ahead of compatriots Francesco Friedrich by 0.10s and Latvia's Emils Cipulis by 0.40s.

The Polish foursome of Aleksi Boron, Bartosz Sienkiewicz, Dominik Boinski, David Bubba finished 18th with a 4.29 loss. The white-red team only managed to overtake the Czechs.

In pairs, Nolte had a 0.08-second lead over compatriot Lisa-Marie Bakwitz's team in Saturday's standings. In third place were the Swiss led by Melanie Hassler, who lost 0.38 seconds, with the Polish women 1.98 seconds slower but ahead of the six two-person team.
