The Poles were clear favorites and this was confirmed in the first set, in which they quickly gained a clear advantage (9:1) and controlled the situation (12:2, 16:3, 21:9). The Eastern European Under-20 Championship (EEVZA) was held on January 10-14, 2024 in Gorzów Wielkopolsk. In the meeting, Poles won Latvia 3-0, Ukraine 3-1, Estonia 3-0 and Azerbaijan 3-0.
