“There will be fewer jobs for those who know something”
In a dynamic and changing world, it becomes crucial to adapt to what it looks like Labor Market in a few years. The coming years present new challenges for organizations and employers. Piotr Voelkel has no doubt that the revolution has already begun.
– We must state this clearly working There will be more and more work for those who know something, but there will be a great decrease in work for those who know something. Knowledge will be like oxygen, available at the touch of a button on your smartphone. Artificial intellect It is moving us away from knowledge-based professions very quickly And it leads us to things that have to do with skills, like I can cook, I can do something. Generally speaking, anyone who has a profession in hand can be very confident about their future, says Piotr Voelkel.
Therefore, according to the guest.business classes“From the perspective of the labor market, it is crucial to adapt the education model to the reality around us as quickly as possible. – Much of what we teach today is at our fingertips on our smartphone. There is no reason for young people to enter. They need to understand the world, not learn new rules by heart. It is very important to unite: on the one hand: “I can”, on the other: “I know where to look” and on the third: “I understand the world”. Does it matter if the Battle of Grunwald took place in 1410 or 415? It's okay, you have to understand the meaning of this struggle, emphasizes Voelkel.
Polish brands need designers
Ten years ago, Piotr Voelkel was on the 88th place in the “100” list the richest Poles”. His fortune was estimated at PLN 285 million. Since then, a lot has changed, because the businessman transferred a large part of his business to his children and began to invest in education himself – he was involved in construction. SWPS University, he is the creator, among other things, of the school Program concept form.
– Polish companies They must have good designers, otherwise it is impossible to create a brand if we cannot create innovative things. No brand will be built on copies of other people's products. Designers should not be educated in art schools, because a designer should not be an artist in the same sense as a painter or sculptor. An artist should be a free person who has his own ideals, mission, vision and implements it himself at his own risk. A designer must create something for others, so he cannot force us to understand the world, but must first understand us. We teach freshmen psychology, anthropology, philosophy, humanities, and we teach them to observe people to see how people function and then develop what we need, says Piotr Voelkel.
