The future MEP is a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Secret Services and is also the Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Committee. He ran for the Seimas from the third place on the list of the civil coalition including Bydgoszcz. It was supported by 89,840 residents.

“After 16 years of continuous work in the Polish Parliament, I am accepting a mandate in the European Parliament,” wrote the civil platform politician on Platform X.





“I declare that, as before, I will be an active parliamentarian, representing the Republic of Poland with dignity and supporting the government in its efforts to restore Poland's strong position in the European Union,” he added.
