Photos have appeared on the Internet, which prove that, contrary to the statements of politicians of the ruling coalition, the well-known barriers erected during the time of law and justice have returned to the Sejm.
Katarzyna Karpa-Šviderek, a spokesperson for the Speaker of the Seimas, Shimon Holovnia, admitted in a comment posted on social media that the reason was security issues.
“The primary goal is the safety of demonstrators and officers during the gathering. Security protection will be installed at the request of the police and will be dismantled after the protest. The Sejm is and will be open and safe for citizens. Whether anyone likes it or not. No,” the speaker's spokesperson assured.

Holovnia promised to dismantle the barriers
Barriers were erected in front of the Parliament in 2018. Politicians and supporters of the KO, Left and Third Way argued that the fence was a symbol of PiS's eight-year rule and praised Shimon Holonia for removing it.
– Parliament's freezer is creaking from Marshal's office. The police barriers that distort the Sejm will also disappear, because enough of these barriers have been placed between us. (…) The Seimas will not be a refuge for criminals. The Sejm will not be a sphere of corruption. The Seimas will never be a tribune of contempt. My goal and program is simple – I want parents not to cover their eyes or ears when their children are shown Seym on TV. On the contrary, they would say: this is how we can talk about each other, even when we disagree, said Shimon Holovnia in his inaugural speech as Speaker of the Seimas.
After the defeat of PiS, the barriers were temporarily removed. The activists of the Committee for the Protection of Democracy had to carry out the dismantling “Seim is ours!”
