– Yesterday the President invited us to the meeting as deputies of the Republic of Poland. This information was in the public domain. When we went to meet the president, we were outside our houses and the police came to our houses and arrested us. We have the impression that they wanted to avoid a meeting with the President of the Republic of Poland. This is another manifestation of illegality, which has been going on for years in our case, – said Mariusz Kaminski, the former head of the SSBA and the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration.
– I would like to thank the president for his solidarity and understanding of the situation. In fact, we are dealing with a very deep crisis in the country. Anarchy in the courts. Open rebellion against the Supreme Court. Judges of the “Justice” will pass judgment on our cases. This is an unacceptable thing. It all started in 2009, when Donald Tusk accused us. I have since shown a secret letter in August 2009 that showed the extent of corruption in the then government, he noted.
Kaminski and Wasik want to participate in the demonstration on January 11
– If we go to prison, we will be political prisoners. The president wants to avoid this at all costs. Many thanks to him, noted Kaminsky. – We are still MPs, although the actions of Marshal Holonia and the parliamentary majority are taken in order not to fulfill the mandate, which is based on the will of the voters, – said the PiS politician.
– We are here, we are not hiding. We know that police forces are gathering at the presidential office to arrest us. We are currently talking to the president. We will try to meet the decent Poles who will be at the demonstration on January 11. We want to participate in it. We want to participate in the session of the Seimas, said Mariusz Kaminski.
Maciej Wąsik added that both are MPs. – No one told us our mandate. What Marshall tried failed. In this situation, the attempts to arrest the deputies confirm that we are moving towards a totalitarian state. That's why we invite everyone Action on January 11 on 16 before the Seimas – said the PiS politician.
After this announcement, Kaminski and Vesik did not answer questions. They returned to the presidential palace.
