On Thursday, the Extraordinary Control and Public Affairs Chamber of the Supreme Court annulled the decision of the Speaker of the Seimas Szymon Hołownia regarding the expiration of the mandate of MP Maciej Wąsik.

– I am not afraid of anything. I have been around since the 1980s, when I started my activity as a young boy, as a student, I was one of the activists of the underground independent student association, I was arrested by the security service many times. (…) What I did, I did for Poland, for the Polish state. I am proud of it, I do not regret it, and I will continue my public activities from behind bars. I will never give up, assured Kaminsky. – I will be loyal to the voters, I will not give up. If I am free on January 10, if I am not detained by force, despite the decision of Mr. Holonia and “December 13 coalition”, I will go to the Seimas not based on my interests, but because of my will. of my constituents. I was given a mandate to act and I will represent them, if they do not forcefully obstruct me in the plenary hall – said the former head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration. As he added, “a bitter dictatorship is being created” in Poland.
