Liverpool's players beat London's Fulham 2-1 at Anfield in the first semi-final match of the English League Cup. Brazilian Willian scored first for the guests, and the Reds responded with goals from Curtis Jones and Dutch Cody Gakpo. Darwin Nunes assisted both.
The return match will take place on January 24 at London's Craven Cottage Stadium.
