At a press conference held on Wednesday, Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the approximate date of local self-government elections. According to him, in the case of the first and second rounds of local elections, April 7 and 21 are “the most probable”.
The head of the government also admitted that he would be happy to participate in these elections as part of the “October 15” coalition. However, he understands that his coalition partners may prefer to vote independently.
– As the prime minister of the October 15 coalition government, I am sure that it would be good to show that we are one compact, big, solidary team, and if it were only up to me, I would be happy to put on such a front. he noted.
– But these are local elections, (…) so I will know if our partners decide to vote independently, I am talking about the third way or the left. (…) there are “pros” and “cons” and it actually looks different in different provinces. Of course, I will not impose anything, added the head of government.
