On Tuesday (January 2nd), Katarzyna Bosacka announced that Malgorzata Kozlowski-Wojciechowski had died. The famous doctor, who was known as “Professor Zdrovko”, was 72 years old.

“Yesterday morning, after a long and serious illness, the professor died Malgorzata Kozlowska-Woicechowska, the famous professor Zdrovko. Malgozia, I feel sad and empty without you. Let us remind you that Kozlovska-Wojcechowska graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of the Medical Academy in Warsaw. In 1984, he defended his diploma there and received a specialty in internal diseases and gastroenterology. In 2006, he received his habilitation at the Medical University of Pomerania in Szczecin, in the field of medical sciences, specializing in diet. Six years later, he received the title of professor.


In the late 1970s, he began working at the Institute of Food and Nutrition in Warsaw. Then he served as an assistant in the Department of Gastroenterology and Metabolism of the Medical Center of Postgraduate Education, and also worked in the Department of Pharmacognosy and Molecular Basis of Phytotherapy of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Medical University of Warsaw. He was also Head of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Care.





Kozlowski-Woicechowska has lectured at, among others, the Medical University of Warsaw and the SWPS University of Warsaw. TV viewers knew him as “Professor Be Happy”. “I listened to the wise words of Professor Zdrovko for years. (…) he could speak interestingly, lively and with a sense of humor”; “Very specific and professional. He will always be my role model”; “Outstanding, competent, always smiling”; “Very sad news, great sadness,” wrote Instagram users in the comments under Bosachka's post.

Bosaka intervened regarding the promotion of alcohol
