In recent weeks, there has been a real revolution in public media. A week earlier, Sienkiewicz dismissed the presidents of TVP, PR and PAP. The new management boards of the companies were elected by the new supervisory boards appointed by the minister.
Today it is already known that most of the current journalists of Telewizja Polska will not appear on TVP. The old staff of public television finds a place in Tomasz Sakiewicz's media. Michał Rachoń became the director and presenter of two original broadcast programs on Telewizja Republika. He was the head of TVP's “Wiadomości”. Danuta Holetska manages the main information service of “Republika” TV company “today”.
Miller recalls: Holeka did not support any party
In an interview with Onet.pl, former Prime Minister and current MEP Leszek Miller talked about getting to know the former “face” of TVP. – Danuta Holetska complained to me that she was not appreciated on television, that she was relegated to the background, that her qualifications were not properly used. This was several years before the PIS government, Miller said. – We were friends. Mrs. Holetska was very interested in the recovery of my husband, who had undergone serious cancer surgery. He offered us various books and we often talked about them. I can say that his behavior was exemplary, he admitted.
– It seems to me that at that time Danuta Holetska did not support any political party, at least he did not do it skillfully. And what happened next, I think, is a reaction to his being pushed aside, pushed aside, undervalued. As soon as he got the chance to take revenge, as they say, he took advantage of it – said Leszek Miller.
