Well, I will try to convey the results of my thoughts.
(In 1945, the German state defeated a war that started in which millions of people died, hundreds of millions were blackened and many countries were destroyed. With millions of demoralized Germans who accepted the National Socialist theses as truth and worked for Reich, even if they had a position or profession that gave them the means to commit crimes, without so many millions, the creation of a “new post-war Germany” would have been impossible? “Too many” were true that some people were blinded by their obvious Nazi and criminal past, an example would be the Warsaw executioner Heinrich Friedrich Reinefart, who made a political career in the Federal Republic of Germany and died in 1979. He was never punished for his crime due to the lack of witnesses. He tried to punish “them” with the mass death of the peaceful population, he preferred to remain silent, only after a few decades after his natural death, the German authorities “apologized” and
OK, that's enough. In short, by losing the war, Germany won, as if in a lottery, its fate, which many envied.
Until now, the German state, after reunification thanks to the “revolution of 1980” started in Poland, has prospered well or even very well. Since the middle of the last century, it has been attractive to further visitors (Turkey, Yugoslavia, Eastern European countries). Germany was developing economically and was not afraid of economic crises. Germany has always (including during World War II) had problems with energy resources. But along came Russia with its gas fields and its superpower ambitions. They started building pipelines and then the Russia-Ukraine war started. Well, it turned out to be “excessive”, the most important economic partner needs sanctions on the thesis that cheap labor will come from the Middle East and energy resources from Russia and everything will be as it should be. .
But Germans do not like to sit idle. The war, which has been going on for almost two years, is causing death, suffering and material damage to Ukrainians. So what can you do?
Here comes Parteigenosse Donald Tusk, who is known for his propensity for reconciliation with Russia. It was like that after the Smolensk disaster, and it may be like that now. And who knows, maybe it was created for this purpose? At the beginning of his “career” he had to deal with the privatization of the Polish press (and is responsible for the German ownership of a significant part of media titles) and money from the Germans for party activities. Whatever he thinks, he cannot be sure that in reality he is not a subject, but only the object of something bigger and more ruthless than himself.
I think, judging by the emotions accompanying Donek's statements, someone told him that he has little time and there are great things to gain.
What I say next is just a figment of my imagination, but I think it is based on the reality of what I see.
After the initial pacification of the rebels in Poland, Donald Tusk will focus on peace in Europe. He will establish contacts with Putin and then bring about a cessation of hostilities in Ukraine. What if Ukraine has territorial and, therefore, economic losses, human casualties and the devastation of war, which will affect the Ukrainian reality for several decades? Most likely, this will be a type of Yalta agreement, where Russia will receive guarantees that Ukraine will remain in Russia's sphere of influence, outside the EU and NATO. The West will agree because it means peace and at least a problem for it.
In this way it can happen that “among dear friends the dogs ate the rabbit.” So something like Poland after Yalta.
Russia will be sanctioned as the war will finally end. Everyone will be happy and free. The German state will be able to export natural gas, a source of energy, from Russia. Immigrants will have the opportunity to have a well-paid job. Donald Tusk will be nominated by the European Union for the Nobel Prize for ending the most important ongoing conflict in Europe. probably will accept. Poland will now only be “one of the members” who will accept the Union's general policy.
I see it that way.
I hope I'm wrong.
