In 2024, Canal+ will show Polish original series “When the Wedding”, “A Simple Matter” and “Black Daisies”.
According to “Presserwis”, Canal+ will be the first to broadcast “When the Wedding” by director Piotr Domalewski and Lukasz Ostalski in February 2024. It is an eight-episode series about modern relationships and problems of young people. The main characters are played by Maria Debska and Eric Kulm Jr. The directors of the series are Piotr Domalewski and Lukasz Ostalski. The script was created by the duo Katarzyna Wisniowska and Marek Baranowski. Akson Studio is the executive producer of the series.

“A Simple Matter” based on Wojciech Chmielarcz's novel will premiere in the spring of 2024. The series tells the story of an unnamed hero. He embarks on a journey to find the man who gave him his money so selflessly so many years ago. When it turns out that this man involved in games with the local mafia needs help, he takes his side. The main role is played by Mateusz Damiecki. The screenwriter and director of the series Kyprian T. It was Olentsk. The series is produced by Hungry Crocodiles.
Also in 2024, the TV series “Black Daisies” will be released, which combines crime and thriller elements with a supernatural plot. It is a story in which supernatural phenomena and historical motifs work together to create a multi-layered mystery. The main character, geologist Lena, returns to her hometown of Walbrzych to find her missing daughter, with whom she lost contact many years ago, and who is suspected of abducting several children. The production included, among others, David Ogrodnik, Karolina Kominek, Tomasz Schuchardt, Edita Olshovka, Olaf Lubashenko and Robert Gonera. Mariusz Paley is the director of the series. The authors of the screenplay are Katarzyna Tybinka (as main author), Agnieszka Špila, Dominika Prezhdova and Markin Chiastoni. The literary director of the project is Michal Oleschik. Executive produced by Balapolis.
The series will be available to watch on Canal+ Online streaming service and Canal+ Premium.
