In recent weeks, there has been a real revolution in public media. On December 27, the Minister of Culture and National Heritage Bartlomiej Sienkiewicz decided to stage them. in liquidation. A week earlier, Minister Sienkiewicz dismissed the presidents of Polish Television, Polish Radio and the Polish Press Agency. The new management boards of the companies were elected by the new supervisory boards appointed by the minister. Less than an hour after the announcement of the Ministry of Culture, TVP Info and TVP3 stopped broadcasting (instead, TVP1 and TVP2 started broadcasting). A few minutes later, the station's website also disappeared. The role of TVP Info was quickly taken over by Telewizja Republika, which from Wednesday, December 20 broadcasts special sections on the takeover of public media lasting several hours a day.
Today we already know that most of the journalists of Telewizja Polska will no longer appear on TVP. The media, in turn, reports on the return of famous names to the public media, who bid farewell to them during the time of law and justice. Old TVP employees find a place in Tomasz Sakievic's media.

On Thursday, December 28, we reported that Michal Rachon returns to work at Telewizja Republika, where he will be the channel's program director and host of two original shows. Danuta Holecka, the former head of TVP “Wiadomości”, made her debut at the “Repubblica” TV station on Friday. The journalist headed the 19. main news website “Dzisiaj” and after that he interviewed former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki.

Now, in an interview with Wirtualne Media, Tomasz Sakiewicz, president and editor-in-chief of TV Republika, says that new products will soon appear on Telewizja Republika.
– There will be new faces and new programs, we are working on it. We do not want to inform you about it in advance, at least we will offer you new products at an express rate. So, of course, it is not in the perfect shape as it should be, usually we work on new products for several months and have several tens of hours,” he emphasized.
As Sakievic pointed out, TV Republika can employ a dozen people from TVP, but there will not be room for everyone.
– We do not have an offer for everyone, this is an agreement. We see journalism as a mission, so those who approach journalism in this order will definitely find a job with us. The needs are great, because currently we are broadcasting the premiere program non-stop, mostly from morning to evening – said Sakievich in an interview with Wirtualne Media. – First of all, we want to provide constant information and comments, to be in the studio and tell people what is happening – he added.
