It was noted that the first phase of the audit examines payments scheduled for January 2024. The Ministry will make every effort to ensure that the payments, which there is no doubt, are made as soon as possible. – they say in the ministry. The ministry also announced that work is underway to create a special group of experts for the Justice Fund, which will determine the future rules of its activities.
According to the announcement, the payment controls apply to victim assistance, post-penalty assistance and crime prevention contracts (both competitive and non-competitive).
“A total of 112 entities are involved, which should receive PLN 79,770,098.59 in payments in January alone. In addition to subsidies, payment for advertising activities has also been suspended,” it was emphasized. As we read, “suspension of payments does not mean termination of contracts.” “However, contracts will be carefully analyzed,” the statement said.
They withheld money from the Ridzik Foundation and others
According to the Ministry, the entities whose payments have been suspended include:
– Father Tadeusz Rydzyk's Lux Veritatis Foundation, which will receive PLN 2,308,800 this year. The fund had to pay PLN 7,178,028 by the end of 2026;
– Fidei Defensor Association, which will receive PLN 1,477,333 this year. By the end of 2025, the association had to pay a total of PLN 2,954,666;
– European Sovereignty and Heritage Fund, which will receive PLN 544,200 this year. 1,088,400 PLN to be paid to the fund by 2025;
– Profeto.pl Secretariat of the Sacred Heart Foundation for the New Evangelization, which will receive PLN 29,777,090 this year. The fund had to pay a total of PLN 37,306,091 until the end of 2026;
– St. Benedykta Foundation, which will receive PLN 1,261,334 this year. The fund had to pay PLN 3,757,334 by the end of 2026.
