Its echo does not disappear Statements by Jan Pietrzak on the actions of the German government related to illegal immigrants.
– Here, I have a cruel joke with these immigrants. They hope the Poles are ready because we have barracks. We have barracks for immigrants in Auschwitz, Majdanek, Treblinka, Štutovo. Here we have many barracks built by the Germans. And that's where we'll keep these immigrants who illegally force us Germans. People running for a better world are not outlaws. The government that let them in is illegal. So Germany is illegal. Their slogan, which welcomed the newcomers, was illegal, extra-contractual and inconsistent with the laws. This is an illegal activity of Germany. Next year we have to be sensitive about it, because it seems that they are starting our heads a lot and it annoys me – said the satirist and publicist on Telewizja Republika.
Justice Minister and Attorney General Adam Bodnar said he asked National Prosecutor Dariusz Barski to look into Jan Pietrzak's statements and open an investigation. Earlier, the Racist and Xenophobic Behavior Monitoring Center announced that it had reported on the crimes committed by Pietrzak and Televisa Republika.
Pietrzak: I don't understand this storm
In an interview with Gazeta.pl, Jan Pietrzak emphasized that his statement was only aimed at criticizing German policy. – I didn't say that, but them (Germany – editor's note). They said they would send the immigrants here to Polish camps because they didn't know where to keep them. I read somewhere that there are plans to create camps for migrants to be sent to Poland. This was my attitude towards this information,” he said.
– This statement is sharp, because the Germans do sharp things. It is a crime to send emigrants who go with them to other countries without the consent of these emigrants and with the will of Germany. There is no provision in the treaties that people can be resettled regardless of where they want to live. These immigrants are going to Germany, not Poland, and they want to resettle them. This is Germany's crime. I noticed that the Germans have this custom, said Pietrzak.
– No one forbade me to remember what the Germans did in Poland. They built concentration camps where people were taken to be killed. I just reminded you that the Germans did such things. I think I have a right as a person living in such a time to have such memories. I don't understand this storm, he added.
