Republika TV has expanded its coverage. Tomas Sakievic: “We want to be where it is possible”

TV Republika has joined the MUX L2 offering operated by Telewizja from TVT Rybnik.

MUX L2 transmits the signal from Rybnik and Ornontowice transmitters. Previously, the station also appeared on MUX L4 in Wrocław and Świdnik operated by MWE Networks.

TV company “Republica” acquired shares

Currently, TV Republika is also available terrestrially: on MUX L1 from Jelenia Góra (MWE Networks) and MUX L3 in Tomaszów Mazowiecki and Czestochowa (MWE Networks), MUX BCAST (Polsat Plus Group) in Warsaw, Wrocław and Gdatów and MUX. televisions.

The MUX transmits the signal from the Lubin and Glogov transmitters. – We want to be where it's possible – Tomasz Sakievic, president and editor-in-chief of TV Republika, told us when asked if the station will join MUX L7.

Operators of permanent and temporary local MUXes, unlike nationwide, have the freedom to shape their programming. Therefore, they can conclude contracts for the transmission of the signal with broadcasters with a Polish license. According to Nielsen Media TV, Republic gained market share after it stopped broadcasting the propaganda TVP Info.

• On Wednesday, December 20, the day TVP Info was suspended, the average rating of the television company was 2.61%. Share in the overall 4+ group, 1.13 percent in commercial 16-49 and 1.75 percent in commercial 16-59.
• A day later, on Thursday, it was 3.35% and 1.94% respectively. and 2.22 percent
• For comparison, in November, the TV company “Republika” had only 0.11 percent. Share in the overall 4+ group, 0.03 percent in commercial 16-49 and 0.05 percent in commercial 16-59.

In addition to terrestrial broadcasting, the station is also available from pay TV operators and through Tvrepublika.pl.
