An employee of an enterprise in the Penza region in the center of European Russia was arrested for cooperation with the Polish secret services, the FSB reports.

The enterprise in question is assigned the status of “special importance”, which usually refers to special or military sites, companies and organizations that the FSB itself protects.

The detainee had to provide confidential information about the company's activities to the Polish side. Polish services offered him help to go abroad.

“As a result of operational and intelligence activities, the illegal actions of the figure were detected, which was aimed at collecting information about the volume of production of the company within the framework of the state defense order, which he learned while performing his official duties. We remind you that at the end of last year, an indictment was presented to the court against 16 foreigners who were accused of spying for the Russian intelligence on the territory of Poland.

The indictment is the result of an investigation conducted by the Internal Security Agency under the supervision of the prosecutor's office. In the material collected by the Internal Security Agency, it is indicated that the defendants carried out a number of activities on behalf of the Russian special services.

“Tasks assigned included identifying military facilities and critical infrastructure, monitoring and documenting and preparing the transportation of military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine. The defendants also carried out propaganda aimed at inciting sentiments against the Ukrainian nation, causing Poland to cut off aid to Ukraine.
